Remember, this is the only Super Bowl charity event. Other Super Bowl parties will be taking place around the same date, be sure to check those out as well. Playboy will be launching their new magazine during their Super Bowl party, while the Rolling Stones Magazine will blast away with their Super Bowl concert that takes in more than 100,000 fans every year.
How to Dress
There is no pre-conditioned attire for the event, as it is opened to all public, stars, VIP´s and general public. But it is recommended to wear a formal attire, business or cocktail dress. Comfortable shoes is a must.
We suggest a formal but comfortable attire. Don’t take the business suggestion too seriously.
Parking is available at the Cow Palace, but traffic is going to be heavy. So preferably take public transportation. VIP ticket holders get valet parking and a specific entrance.
Bring Your Camera and Take Lots of Pictures
It is in the best interest of the event promoters that you take as many photos as possible with the stars and the unmissable food-selfies. Remember to share those on social media with the tag #kickhunger. Taste of the NFL is on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
For security purposes handbags are allowed, just make sure the size is small and with as little items as possible. Some events require handbags to be plastic only and see-through, this is not the case but a very good idea to attend large public events.
- Large Backpacks
- Bags larger than a small purse
- No outside merchandise like alcohol.
Each guest will be wanded with a magnetometer, a process which is required upon entry.
The Out Bid Hunger Auction
Aside from great food attendees can also choose to participate on the “Out Bid Hunger Auction”, were sports memorabilia, jewelry and other interesting items will be offered. This event requires an additional registration which can be done on site, but can also be pre-registered by text message Taste to 63975.
Beverages are complimentary as well during this event.
The top 3 items to be auctioned this 2016 will be:
The Quarterback of the Century – A licensed limited special editions NFL jersey hand signed, and authenticated, by legend players John Elway, Dan Marino, Joe Montana, and Johnny Unitas. This jersey is unique and only the highest bidder can have the honor of wearing it.
The Fight of the Century – The Fight of Century was not Mayweather vs Pacquiao, we are talking about Joe Fraizer vs Muhammad Ali, an original poster from 1975 promoting the fight by the two boxers. The design by LeRoy Neiman has been highly acclaimed through time and has been hand signed by both boxers. Authentication certificates will be handed out.
The Legend of Greenbay – Several post card autographed by Greenbay legends Vince Lombardi, Bart Starr, Brett Favre, and Aaron Rodgers.
Third Eye Blind Performance
Taste of the NFL always offers a main event performance by a top artist, this year it will be Third Eye Blind. The local band is widely known as a 90´s Billboard rock band with singles like “Semi-Charmed Life”, “How’s It Going To Be” and “Jumper”. For the event the band will feature songs from their golden days and new songs from their latest album release, “Dopamine”.
